			Squirrels are among my favorite animals, along with goats and raccoons. There's just something about their bushy tails, tiny hands, and acrobatic skills that never fails to make me smile. It's no wonder they're often hailed as nature's tiny acrobats.

			One of the most interesting things about squirrels is their ability to jump incredible distances. Did you know that a squirrel can jump up to 10 times its body length in a single bound? That's like a human jumping over a 70-foot-long stretch of road! I don't know about you, but I can barely jump over a puddle.

			Squirrels are also famous for their love of nuts. They're constantly scurrying around, collecting and burying nuts for later. But did you know that squirrels are actually pretty forgetful when it comes to their nut stashes? It's estimated that they forget where they've buried up to 74% of their nuts! That means there are probably hundreds of forgotten nut stashes hidden in your backyard right now.
